The story of LYCHEE Hime

Hime is directly translated to lady or princess. This particular one is a sorceress who can raise an army of monsters, filled with yokai and the undead. although versions of her story vary from different regions of japan, the stories of her attempts in overthrowing the japanese emperor had become quite popular during the edo period.

in a rebellion against the japanese emperor, she summoned an army of skeletons and many yokai to fight alongside her while riding her giant toad yokai, known as OGAMA. she clashed with the samurai mitsukuni and his brave soldiers as they defended Soma Castle. She unleashed a gashadokuro (a gigantic Skeleton) upon Mitsukuni during the fight. In the end, despite her magic, she and her army were defeated and her rebellion failed.
